EMPLOYMENT LAW COURSES
I am always happy to deliver training courses either online or in person when I am available.
Please contact me if you are interested in inviting me to provide a course for your team. I am happy to deliver a standard course from the list below, or will happily consider creating a more specialised bespoke course for you.
I always take a practical, management perspective and include plenty of interactive activities.
I regularly deliver short courses on HR and employment law issues on behalf of employing organisations, trade unions, CIPD branches, colleges and at various university events. Recent clients for training I have delivered include the Home Office, Siemens, the Bank of New York Mellon, Kellogg's, Aldermore Bank, Ashworth Special Hospital NHS Trust, the World Academy of Sport, Greater Manchester Police, Salford and Oldham Councils, the Cabinet Office, the Office for National Statistics and the Ministry of Defence.

A full introduction to employment law - covering all major topic areas
If you and your team are looking for a longer programme, I am able to offer a course covering all the topics in UK employment law that have practical management significance. I deliver this over five full days or eight half days. We cover discrimination law, dismissal law, contracts of employment, the law on hours and wages, health and safety, confidentiality issues, TUPE and family-friendly employment regulation. I can also offer an additional session introducing collective employment law if that is of relevance to your organisation. The course is introductory and is designed to meet the needs of managers who are either not so familiar with employment law or who are looking to refresh and update their understanding.
